Life on the Road Began with a Bump in the Road
Sometimes it takes a bump in the road to make you realize it’s time to take a new direction.
In July 2025, I experienced a health scare that gave me a new perspective on life and how I wanted to spend my time. At the time, I was working as a supervisor in manufacturing, a field I had been in for nearly a decade. While I appreciated the people I worked with and the experiences I gained, I eventually realized I wanted to build a business of my own—one where I could put my time and energy into work I genuinely enjoyed.
After getting back on my feet, I decided it was time to take that chance.
Over the years, I’ve seen just how much depends on getting things from one place to another, which made hauling and logistics feel like a natural fit. There is always something that needs to get from Point A to Point B, and I wanted to create a local option for people who need a hand getting it there.
I’m based right here in Elwood, Iowa, conveniently located between Dubuque, the Quad Cities, Cedar Rapids, and Iowa City. I operate a 102-inch-wide, 24-foot tilt-bed equipment trailer and can haul loads up to 7,000 pounds as a Non-CDL driver while staying within applicable DOT requirements.
